CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)

Phillip Jackson

Phillip Jackson is a third-generation real estate developer whose international career has taken him across North America and Asia, including Canada, the United States, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, China and Hong Kong.

After first visiting Costa Rica in the late 1990s, Phillip developed a lasting connection with the country and its people. He continued doing business in Costa Rica and eventually made it his home. In 2020, he became co-owner of a Costa Rican construction company.

A chance meeting with Gerald North introduced Phillip to the possibilities of Insulated Concrete Form construction and challenged his assumptions about traditional building methods. Their shared vision ultimately led to a partnership focused on bringing stronger, more efficient and more resilient construction solutions to Costa Rica.

Today, Phillip brings his extensive experience in real estate development, international business and financial management to BetterBlock ICF, helping guide the company's growth and long-term strategy.

PRESIDENT, BETTERBLOCK ICF

Gerald North

Gerald North brings decades of hands-on construction experience and extensive knowledge of Insulated Concrete Form technology to BetterBlock ICF.

Throughout his career, Gerald has built with a wide range of construction systems, including wood-frame construction, concrete block and numerous ICF systems. That practical experience has given him a firsthand understanding of the differences between conventional building methods and the long-term advantages that properly designed ICF construction can provide.

For Gerald, construction is more than an industry—it is a passion. He believes clients should receive lasting value from their investment: buildings that are strong, comfortable, energy-efficient and designed to withstand demanding environmental conditions.

As President of BetterBlock ICF, Gerald helps lead the company's commitment to advancing ICF construction in Costa Rica and Central America and to creating buildings designed to serve their owners for generations.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Randall Rodríguez

Randall Rodríguez brings more than two decades of experience in personnel development, sales, customer service and quality management to BetterBlock ICF.

Throughout his career, Randall has trained and developed personnel in customer-focused organizations, building extensive experience in communication, service standards, sales performance and quality assurance. That background has given him a strong understanding of how effective teams, clear processes and consistent standards contribute to a successful organization.

As Director of Operations, Randall oversees key aspects of BetterBlock's day-to-day activities, helping coordinate departments, streamline processes and maintain efficient operations as the company continues to grow.

His hands-on leadership style and strong customer-service focus support BetterBlock's goal of making advanced ICF construction an increasingly accessible and trusted choice throughout Costa Rica and the region.

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Adam Yaseen

Adam Yaseen brings more than three decades of executive leadership, operations management, strategic planning and business development experience to BetterBlock ICF.

Before entering business management full time, Adam spent more than 15 years in broadcast television, including serving as a Technical Director for Fox Broadcasting. His career included major nationally and internationally televised productions spanning entertainment and professional sports, including the NFL, NHL, Major League Baseball, NASCAR, six FIFA World Cups and nine Olympic Games. As a member of award-winning production teams, he received seven Emmy Awards for Broadcast Excellence.

Adam later transitioned into business leadership, developing extensive experience in executive management, manufacturing operations, strategic planning, sales and marketing, financial oversight, supply chain management and organizational growth. He has successfully built, scaled and exited a business and brings that combination of operational and leadership experience to BetterBlock.

As Director of Business Development, Adam is focused on expanding BetterBlock ICF technology throughout Costa Rica and Central America and helping deliver construction solutions designed to improve building performance, efficiency and long-term value.
